The original company bearing the corporate name was founded in 1919 by Isaac Carasso in Barcelona as a small factory producing yoghurt. The factory was named Danone, a Catalan diminutive of the name of his first son, Daniel Carasso.
Ten years later, the company moved from Spain to neighboring France.

Poland - September 2011

Greek team visits Poland 26/09/2011   to 30/09/2011

We would like to share with you our experience from our visit to Rybnik, Poland.

German and Estonian teams were also there.

We really had a very nice and creative time in Poland.

During the visit the students painted posters on the subject of employment/unemployment.

The European Languages Day school event was great. The visit to the Silesian University of Technology and the Teneco company, as well as the tour of Rybnik and the information about the businesses in the region by the school history teacher Mr. Piotr Paszenda were amazing! On the last day we walked in the streets of beautiful Krakow!

We left Poland with the best memories. In short, our visit to Poland was wonderful!!!!
